I am humbled by kids and I am very lucky I get to work with them every day. Seeing an athlete progress and their confidence increase is the biggest reward for me. As an adult, my husband and his family are huge motivators and are my support system. My childhood mentor was my first basketball coach, Bob Johnson. I have had many mentors in my life and in this business.

In order to ensure a quality product is delivered day in and day out there is a constant focus on management, employees, facility control, safety, leadership, flow, intensity, development, customers and marketing. My biggest struggle in this particular business is maintaining and improving the quality of the product. However, that perspective is hard sometimes when your whole life (literally) is wrapped up in your business. I try very hard to learn from mistakes and view it as an opportunity to improve. For myself, the biggest struggle is work-life balance and not being so hard on myself. Owning a business always comes with struggles and hardships! I don’t know of a business owner who doesn’t have a big learning curve when they first start. Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way? Our physical location has been open for 2.5 years and we have been conducting sports performance classes in the area for 3+ years. RedLine checked all boxes as we both wanted to help youth maximize their potential physically and in athletics.
When we married, we had the entrepreneur bug and were looking to start something we were passionate about. My husband and myself were both collegiate athletes.
